After arrival, the group took a walk through the vibrant, early summer greenery of the campus, and headed for Omega Building after a tour of SBC (Student Build Campus) and Fabrication Lab at Media Center.

As in the April visit, the group was greeted by Tatsuya Hagino, Professor of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and received explanations on Keio University, the Shonan Fujisawa Campus, and the GIGA Program, a unique program where a degree can be earned through courses taught in English. Following this, Rodney Van Meter, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies gave a mock lecture “Sorting it out,” an introduction to computer programming. Later, an interactive session led by Goi Hoe Chin (Ph.D. Candidate), Senior Researcher of Keio Research Institute at SFC, and current SFC students, was held.
