The 2nd Edition of the Kanagawa Muslim Friendly Restaurant Guidebook has been released!

SFC proactively creates a positive environment where students and faculties are respectful of different backgrounds.

The Laboratory of Islamic Studies of Keio Research Institute at SFC created this guidebook in collaboration with the Kanagawa Prefectural Government to introduce some Muslim friendly restaurants* in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Written in English, the guidebook features a total of 35 restaurants including Japanese, western style, ethnic, ramen, and more, and has information on Halal dishes and the availability of prayer space.

The guide is available in some major tourist information offices in Kanagawa Prefecture and at the Haneda Airport. The PDF version is on the official website of Kanagawa Prefectural Government. http://www.pref.kanagawa.jp/uploaded/attachment/875404.pdf

* “Muslim friendly restaurant” means that the restaurant welcomes Muslim customers. Please note that it is not guaranteed that all the restaurants listed here are completely Halal.
